On Monday I introduced the Amon Carter's Intimate Modernism show and talked about how much fun it was to see a museum present an American modernism show when everyone else seems to be abandoning the period. If you're bearish, the current rally can simply be viewed as an unwind of the bets made by leveraged hedge funds. The following explination comes from Contraryinvestor.com... With the start of April comes many burnt blogosphere offerings, but the gem of the day was a nerdlicious new song from MC Chris. He'd been advertising an exclusive preview track from his upcoming album, though given the April 1st release date it seemed unlikely he'd be putting up anything legit. He ended up unleashing a song that won't be on the album, or presumably any other album since the backing track consists almost entirely of samples from the greatest Danny Elfman theme of all time...

Are you frustrated by the limited color options out there for kitchen appliances? Not into stainless steel, white or black? Join the club. This fear/complacency indicator goes along with the VIX chart posted on the COW this morning. All I am saying is that the bulls' emotions are coming along quite nicely toward a contented state. Did they really find their HOPED FOR bottom with the recent Bear Sterns bailout compliments you and me (if you're from the USA)? We will find out shortly. But I have difficulty believing the story until/unless recent trends in the $VIX & $CPC are busted. As for the PCR, the 20 day ema is approaching t
